  1. Use of the Arena is at the hirer’s own risk. All hirers are advised to check the arena before entering to ensure it has been left in a safe condition and that the premises are secured upon leaving.
  2. In case of emergency, hirers are responsible for ensuring they are aware, and make others aware, of the Fire Exits and Fire Assembly Points, which can be found on the notice board in the shelter nest to the arenas. In the event that a landline is not accessible during the hire period, hirers must ensure that they have the use of a mobile phone in the event of an emergency.
  3. First Aid will not be provided by Grove House Farm Equestrian Centre.
  4. Clients hosting the Arena’s for events must provide suitable First Aid for all events and must indemnify Grove House Farm Equestrian Centre and it’s owners/staff against any claim for accident, injury, loss or similar, however caused to either horse, rider or spectators.
  5. Individual hirers must hold their own public liability insurance. We reserve the right to request sight of such an insurance policy.
  6. Clients hosting the Arena’s for events are deemed responsible and must ensure that the event is covered by suitable insurance and must indemnify Grove House Farm Equestrian Centre and it’s owners/staff against any claim for accident, injury, loss or similar, however caused to either horse, rider or spectators. We reserve the right to halt any actions that we deem to be unsafe.
  7. Set up and use of jumps is entirely at the hirer’s own risk.
  8. Due to circumstances beyond our control it may be necessary to change or cancel your booking. Where the change is considered major as decided by us, you will be offered the option to accept the change or to receive a full refund of any monies paid against the booking. Grove House Farm Equestrian Centre is not responsible for any costs, expenses or damages which may have been incurred by the client or their guest as a result of the change.
  9. Hirers must stick to the allocated time slot so that they don’t interfere with any other bookings.
  10. No smoking or drinking alcohol anywhere on the premises.
  11. All clients and their guests and customers are required to adhere to commonly accepted standards of decency and good behaviour. Racial abuse, discrimination, swearing and loud or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask any person on the premises to leave immediately. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons without giving reason.
  12. No horses to be left tied up outside wagons or trailers.
  13. It is the hirer’s responsibility to leave the arenas in a clean state, including poo picking.
  14. No mucking out into the lorry park.
  15. Litter is to be taken home or left in the bins provided.
  16. Charges apply to provide a service to clear any areas of litter or droppings.
  17. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
  18. Please return any equipment used back to its storage area after use unless set up prior to hire.
  19. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the premises or equipment and must pay the total amount required to make good any such damage.
  20. It is mandatory for all riders to wear a protective helmet to British standard EN1384 or PAS015, at all times whilst mounted on the property, including warming up.
  21. Body protectors are strongly advised. Correct footwear and suitable clothing must be worn at all times.
  22. Dogs are to be kept on leads and under control at all times.
  23. All hirers must bring someone with them or provide contact details in case of emergency.
  24. All vehicles and contents are parked and left at the owner’s risk.
  25. Should any horse be left on the premises for whatever reason, it will be chargeable.
  26. Cancellation Policy: Anyone cancelling their booking within 24 hours is not entitled to a refund. Transfers will be at the discretion of Grove House Farm Equestrian Centre.
